This is the quilt that I designed and made for The Quilting Show competition in Glasgow.
It began as a drawing on a big piece of paper:
I used EPP to create the inner star:
After six rounds of alternating black and rainbow the star was finished:
I pieced black into the outside shapes to make it square:
I added a rainbow border and then quilted lines following the outside of the star inside the black border:
I went to see it hanging in the show last weekend:
One finished quilt!
This was number 1 on my FAL list for Q1. Yay for one thing crossed off the list!
Congrats on this fantastic finish! That EPP is so precise.
Beautiful quilt!
Wow! This is gorgeous! Great job! 🙂
So awesome – love the quilt, fabrics and colour! Thank you for participating in the Finish-A-Long, on behalf of the 2016 hosts!
What a beautiful quilt! It’s an amazing accomplishment!
BEAUTIFUL!!!
