I’ve finally made a start on my Farmer’s Wife QAL and chose to start with block 8 – Aunt. It seemed like a nice simple block to start with and came together in an evening.
I’ve chosen to make my blocks in all solids, and there are 4 colours that I am using. This block only used two, so I went with the dark and light blue.
I think my points are pretty good on this block and overall it’s just a tiny bit over 6.5 inches, so I guess I just need to be a tiny bit more generous with my seams!
One down, 98 to go!
