I think that this is quite a pretty block. I have chosen yellow and one of the blues, in order to get more blocks with yellow in to even out the final quilt.
As in block 79 Patience, this block is also made of 9 squares, except in this block some of the squares are cut into triangles and some other are cut into rectangles. The rectangles I cut out using a standard quilting ruler, and the squares and triangles using Perfect Patchwork template set B
.
I like the symmetrical look of this block, and I’m looking forward to seeing how all the blocks look together in the finished quilt.
I am following along with the Farmer’s Wife Quilt Alongs on Gnome Angel and Very Kerry Berry.
We are making the blocks from the following book over the next year:

I bought the book, but I haven’t made any blocks yet. =P I was following both blogs, but trying to keep up with verykerryberry. Maybe next year?
There’s a long way to go yet. Plenty of time to either catch up or just join in with the blocks that take your fancy 🙂
