
I love how this block looks like a flower when you turn it on point – which is how mine will be in my finished quilt!
Sticking with my colour palette of blues and yellow, I chose the yellow for the leaves and centre of the flower.
When I first looked through the book I didn’t think the pieces for this block were a standard size and thought I’d end up paper piecing it, but looking more closely it’s all made from triangles and squares which I could cut using a quilting ruler or template set A and set C
.
I’m really pleased with my finished block. I think I’ve definitely chosen the right colours for this one 🙂
