I am joining in with some new blocks of the month this year.
This one is called My Favourite Things, and the first block is a sewing machine!
I’ve made this block in solid colours, but I think it will depend on what the rest of the blocks for the year are as to whether I’ll continue like this or introduce some prints and patterns too.
The pattern came with pieces to make a 6 inch block or a 12 inch block. I’ve chosen the 6 inch block.
I’m really pleased with my pink sewing machine block. I’m looking forward to seeing what the February block will be 🙂
