Farmer’s Wife QAL Block 26

The next block I have made is called Daffodil, because (unsurprisingly) it looks like a daffodil!

I chose the best colours of the four I’m using to keep it looking daffodilly – yellow for the flower, dark blue for the background/sky and light blue for the stem (as it’s the most green blue of the three blues).

Paper piecing seemed the easiest way to make this block, so that was the method I chose.

I really like this block, and I’m looking forward to seeing it alongside the other blocks in the finished quilt 🙂

I am following along with the Farmer’s Wife Quilt Alongs on Gnome Angel and Very Kerry Berry.
