Penny Inn Bag

I finally got round to finishing this bag which I started last year.

It is the Penny Inn bag by Chris W designs, and was part of last year’s Bag of the Month Club.

At 90 pages long the pattern was a bit daunting, but it’s also very detailed with lots of photos to illustrate each step, so taking it one step at a time I made it to the end just in time to take it as my bag for a wedding last weekend.

Inside it has lots of sections. The back section has two zipped pockets, two slip pockets and a card section.

The front section, under a snap fastening, has an additional zip pocket, another slip pocket, a section for cards and a clear ID pocket.

It fastens with a large flip lock and has a long shoulder strap with slider to adjust the length.

This was number 15 on my FAL list for Q2. My first finish of the quarter – the list isn’t getting much smaller!

  1. That is a lovely bag and great finish. It sounds like an overwhelming pattern but well worth the time. Thank you for participating in the FAL, on behalf of the 2016 global FAL hosts.
