I think that this block has the most pieces of any block in the block – it’s got the most pieces of all the blocks I’ve attempted so far anyway!
I made this block in my three blues, and I like how all the HST blocks create a square around the centre.
I measured and cut all the squares with a ruler and rotary cutter. I cut slightly larger squares to make the HSTs and then cut them down to the right size before piecing them all together.
